Help santa visit every child this christmas by giving to our tamamutu tree of kindness
While you may think it’s a bit too early for Christmas decorations to go up, it’s never too early to start thinking about Charity, especially as the festive season draws near.
We want to spread kindness, joy and a little extra love throughout our community during the festive season. Together with our office buddies Legaseed, Onla, Taupo & Turangi News, and Seonaid Abernethy, we have put together a fundraising effort, via the Kindness Collective. We have a tree up in the foyer of our shared office and are encouraging donations of gifts, which will be distributed via the Kindness Collective.
What is the Kindness Collective?
Founded in 2013, the Kindness Collective began as a behind-the-scenes community group with friends and family on a mission to make Aotearoa a kinder place for all. Every Kiwi deserves to thrive, but should at the very least have the basics; food, clothing, shelter, and safety.
The reality is poverty and family violence statistics continue to climb. So that’s where the Kindness Collective comes in; they provide practical and tangible support through six nationwide programmes. They’re community-led and their work is varied; each week they package boxes of clothes or food, plant potatoes, and more. Their unique approach means they go where the need is and help where it matters most.

What’s the Giving Tree?
The giving tree is an initiative for businesses, organisations, schools, and/or clubs to set up and invite community to donate new, unwrapped gifts to a nominated location. These gifts will be given to those most in need this Christmas.
How can you be involved.
We invite you to tap into your inner Santa Claus, dig into your charitable Christmas spirit and deliver some new, unwrapped gifts to us at:
4 Tamamutu Street, upstairs in our main foyer, before Friday 5 December
If you’re stuck for ideas, you can always donate a cash amount of your choosing HERE.
